Traffic Diversions Today In Hyderabad For The National Prayer Meeting At Parade Grounds

Today a State and National Prayer Meeting will be conducted at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad. The daughter of U.S. based evangelist Billy Graham, Anne Graham Lotz will lead the prayer meeting.

The meet will commence at 2:30 P.M. and end late in the night. Due to this, there will be traffic diversions from 2:30 P.M. to 9:30 P.M. Vehicles traveling from YMCA will not be allowed to go straight towards Begumpet on SP Road. The traffic will be diverted towards Clock Tower – Patny Paradise on route through SD Road, CTO Sweekar Upkar, Tivoli, Balamrai and CTO.

Vehicles coming from CTO X Roads will not be allowed to Parade Grounds and will be diverted to Balamrai, Tadbund, Mastan Cafe, Tivoli, Sweekar Upkar, YMCA Paradise, SD Road, Patny, Clock Tower, YMCA, Sangeeth Junction.

Vehicles moving from Tivoli X Roads will not be allowed to Plaza and instead diverted towards Brook Bond – Balamrai, CTO, Sweekar Upkar, YMCA. Traffic coming from Sweekar – Upkar X Roads will not be allowed to travel towards SBH Patny. They will be diverted towards YMCA, Tivoli, CTO.

This State and National Prayer Meeting is being organized by Christian Council of Telangana. Bishops belonging to all major denominations are expected to attend the meeting. In prayers, Graham will uphold the Swachh Bharat Mission of Indian Union and Bangaru Telangana mission of Telangana Government.

At a media conference organized by the Christian Council, the Chairman Bishop M. A. Daniel said, “The Christian community, though a minority works towards the welfare of India. In our prayers, we have been upholding the country and our State Telangana.”

The General Secretary of Christian Council Rev. Y. Mohan Babu informed that the prayer would begin at 2.30 P.M. and end at 9:30 P.M. He further added Minister for Information and Technology and Urban Development K. T. Ramarao will be attending the meeting.
