Tadepalli: The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has called for statewide temple poojas on Saturday, September 28th, urging devotees to participate in a symbolic effort to restore the sanctity of Tirumala. The party claims that the reputation of the revered Tirumala temple and its sacred laddu prasadam was tarnished by former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

YSRCP Chief and Former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took to social media platform X, accusing Naidu of spreading false information about the Tirumala prasadam. According to Jagan, Naidu maliciously claimed that the laddu prasadam had been adulterated with animal fat, causing outrage and hurting the sentiments of millions of devotees of Lord Venkateswara.

In his post, Jagan emphasized the significance of cleansing this falsehood and restoring the honor of the sacred prasadam. He urged all devotees to join hands in temple poojas on September 28th as a means to purify Tirumala and reaffirm the spiritual glory of Lord Venkateswara.

“The sanctity of Tirumala, the glory of Lord Venkateswara, and the sacredness of the laddu prasadam were all defiled by Chandrababu Naidu’s lies. To cleanse this sin, we are calling for temple poojas across the state on September 28th,” Jagan stated.

The YSRCP’s call for action is seen as a significant move to address the allegations and restore faith in Tirumala’s religious practices. The party hopes for widespread participation to underline the devotion to Lord Venkateswara and reject the alleged politically motivated accusations.
