Micromax finally launched its much anticipated flagship smartphone the Micromax Canvas 5. Launched at a price tag of Rs 17,999 the phone weighs just 97 grams, which makes it one of the lightest smartphones ever.
The phone sports a 4.8-inch AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. Surprisingly, Micromax has only packed a 8-megapixel rear camera complimented by a 5-megapixel front camera. The phone is powered by 2GB RAM coupled with Qualcomm Snapdragon 410.
Micromax phones were always known for its long lasting battery and the same has been replicated in the new phone as the phone packs a strong battery of 2000mAh. The phone’s connectivity options include 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
Micromax brand ambassador Hugh Jackman will be promoting the new phone.
