Chinese phone maker OnePlus is all set to launch the next version of its custom ROM named as ‘Hydrogen OS’, in China. Lately, OnePlus launched ‘OxygenOS’ to the Indian market after its spat with its previous OS maker Cyanogen.
Hydrogen OS is set to be officially launched on May 28 and promises to provide extra battery life and also improved performance. It is built on Android 5.0 Lollipop and looks almost similar to the stock Android version, but with a little modification in the user interface.
OnePlus is struggling hard to make a niche for it by developing an OS that is known for its uniqueness and which not just resembles iOS in any manner. It also ensured that the software will not be overloaded with bundles of features which will in turn harm the user experience.
OnePlus also launched its Power Bank in India today at a price tag of Rs.1,399.
