Amaravati: Dr. Prateek Sharma, President of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASE) and Chairman of the AI Institute in the US, met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday. The meeting, held at the CM’s residence in Undavalli, was also attended by Dr. Rakesh Kalbalala, Director of AI and Innovation at AIG Hospitals.
The discussion focused on the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in revolutionizing the healthcare sector. In a post on social media platform ‘X’, CM Chandrababu Naidu stated that the experts presented innovative applications of AI aimed at enhancing medical services. The Chief Minister emphasized that the Andhra Pradesh government is committed to leveraging AI to improve public health, particularly in reducing maternal and child mortality rates.
“Our goal is to make Andhra Pradesh a leading healthy state with the help of advanced AI technologies,” said Naidu, underscoring the government’s dedication to integrating AI solutions into healthcare.
