Amaravati: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has emphasized the need to provide meaningful employment opportunities for educated women, urging them not to remain confined to their homes. Chairing a review meeting on coworking and neighborhood working spaces at the State Secretariat on Tuesday, the CM stressed the importance of utilizing human resources effectively through work-from-home and coworking systems.
Naidu directed officials to offer training programs for educated women in rural and semi-urban areas, ensuring they gain access to suitable job opportunities. “Women are highly efficient and talented but are often restricted to their homes due to family responsibilities. By providing work-from-home options and coworking centers, we can unlock their potential and boost economic activity,” he said.
Officials informed the Chief Minister of plans to establish coworking centers across Andhra Pradesh by December 2025, with 22 lakh square feet of space already identified in government and private buildings.
The CM also instructed officials to address the needs of remote workers and to establish Ratan Tata Innovation Hubs in at least five locations. These hubs will be linked to local educational institutions and industries to foster innovation and skill development.
