Hyderabad: Former Minister and BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) shared his candid views on the state of politics and his party’s future goals during an ‘Ask KTR’ (#ASKKTR) session on social media platform ‘X’. Addressing various questions, KTR emphasized the integrity of BRS leadership and criticized current political practices.
KTR assured followers that KCR, leader of BRS and a prominent figure in Indian politics, remains in good health and is active in guiding the party. KTR stated that KCR plans to reengage with the public actively after 2025, reinforcing his role as an opposition leader focused on accountability. KTR criticized the Congress government’s promises, labeling them as “false hopes” and vowing to ensure they meet their commitments. He attributed the recent electoral losses to complacency within his party after a decade in power.
Addressing personal challenges, KTR expressed disappointment that family members are often drawn into political controversies. Reflecting on his 18-year political journey, he acknowledged hardships his family endured and admitted he once considered leaving politics. However, he remains determined to serve the people and continue his political mission.
