San Francisco: Andhra Pradesh IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh, currently on an investment mission in the United States, met with Adobe CEO Santanu Narayen, urging Adobe to establish a Research and Development (R&D) center in Andhra Pradesh. Lokesh emphasized that such a partnership would advance smart governance and AI-driven solutions across the state.

During the meeting, Lokesh highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s investor-friendly policies under Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, promoting the state as an ideal destination for tech investments. He stressed Adobe’s role in enhancing digital skills among youth, aligning with Andhra Pradesh’s vision to become a global tech hub.

Santanu Narayen expressed Adobe’s position as a leader in digital media and cloud-based services, noting Adobe’s significant market cap of Rs 17.95 lakh crore globally. He also emphasized Adobe’s commitment to continuous innovation through products like Photoshop, Acrobat, and AI-powered solutions.

Recognizing Adobe’s contribution to digital transformation, Lokesh stated that such collaborations align perfectly with Andhra Pradesh’s ambitions. Narayen assured that Adobe would evaluate potential investments in the state in consultation with its partners.
