Delhi: Two new Vande Bharat Express trains will begin operations on Saturday, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurating them virtually. These new routes will significantly enhance connectivity between key cities.
The first Vande Bharat Express will operate between MGR Chennai Central and Nagercoil. This train departs from MGR Chennai Central at 5:00 AM and arrives in Nagercoil at 1:50 PM. It will then depart Nagercoil at 2:20 PM and return to Chennai Central by 11:00 PM. This service will be available daily except Wednesdays.
The second route will connect Madurai and Bangalore Cantonment. This train will leave Madurai at 5:15 AM, reaching Bangalore Cantonment at 1:00 PM. It will then depart Bangalore Cantonment at 1:30 PM and arrive back in Madurai at 9:45 PM. This service will run daily except Tuesdays.
