Amaravati: In a move to standardize official communications, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has mandated that only the official emblem of Andhra Pradesh will be displayed at press conferences conducted by state ministers and officials. The Information and Civil Relations Department has implemented these changes, ensuring that the state emblem is prominently visible during all official briefings.
The publicity cell at the Secretariat, where most press conferences are held, has been redesigned to feature a larger version of the official state logo. The backdrop now displays “Government of Andhra Pradesh” in both Telugu and English, emphasizing the state’s identity. This change will be uniformly applied across all District Collectorates.
Notably, the redesign removes any individual photos, including that of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. This contrasts with the previous administration’s approach, which featured the state emblem alongside the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) colors, a photo of former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Navaratna logo, and a state map.
This decision underscores the current administration’s focus on presenting a unified and official image of the Andhra Pradesh government in all public communications.
