Medak: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy participated in the centenary celebrations of the iconic Medak Church on Christmas, highlighting its national significance. Addressing the gathering, the CM extended his greetings and announced key developmental initiatives for the historic church.

Revanth Reddy shared that funds had been allocated for the development of Medak Church, fulfilling requests from local MLA Mynampally Rohit and former MLA Hanmantha Rao. Reflecting on his earlier visit as PCC president, he expressed happiness in returning as Chief Minister and joining the celebrations.

The CM emphasized the state government’s commitment to supporting Dalit and tribal Christians, particularly through the sanctioning of Indiramma houses. He also highlighted other welfare measures, including increasing Arogyasree health assistance to ₹10 lakhs and providing free electricity for up to 200 units.

Additionally, the CM underscored the government’s focus on agriculture, mentioning that ₹21,000 crores of farm loans had been waived off to support farmers.

The Medak Church, a symbol of heritage and faith, marked its 100th year with grand celebrations, attracting dignitaries and worshippers from across the region.
