Tirumala: In a generous initiative by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) SV Annaprasadam Trust, a new one-day Annaprasadam donation scheme has been introduced to allow devotees to contribute to the serving of food to thousands visiting Tirumala for Srivari Darshan.
Key details of the scheme include:
- A contribution of Rs. 44 lakh enables donors to fund Annaprasadam for a full day.
- Donations can also be made specifically for morning breakfast at Rs. 10 lakh, lunch at Rs. 17 lakh, and dinner at Rs. 17 lakh.
- Donors’ names will be displayed in the Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex, and they will have the unique opportunity to serve Annaprasadam on their chosen day.
TTD serves Annaprasadam to around 2.5 lakh devotees daily across multiple locations in Tirumala and Tirupati. At Tirumala, the Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex, Vaikuntham Q Complex, and various PAC facilities provide free food. Food counters also cater to elderly, disabled, and special darshan devotees, while milk and beverages are served to children.
In Tirupati, Annaprasadam is distributed at prominent locations including Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple, Srinivasam, Vishnunivasam Complexes, and hospitals such as Ruia and SVIMS.
