Vijayawada: The Vajpayee Science Center was officially inaugurated at the renowned Rammohan Library in Vijayawada, marking a significant milestone in the city’s cultural and educational development. The event was graced by Krishna District Avanigadda MLA Mandali Buddhaprasad and Vijayawada West MLA Sujana Chaudhary, who jointly inaugurated the center.
Expressing their delight, the MLAs praised the initiative to establish a science center in the historic Rammohan Library, a site visited by Mahatma Gandhi. They commended the efforts of the administrators in restoring the library’s lost glory and bringing it back to prominence.
MLA Mandali Buddhaprasad emphasized that naming the science center after former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a fitting tribute to a leader who elevated Indian politics. He highlighted the importance of revitalizing such historic institutions.
MLA Sujana Choudhary, who hails from Vijayawada, shared her personal connection to the city and pledged her support for the library’s further development. She noted that despite her professional commitments in Hyderabad and abroad, Vijayawada remains her birthplace and a source of pride.
The 117-year-old Rammohan Library now stands as a symbol of progress and learning, with the Vajpayee Science Center adding a new dimension to its legacy.
