Continuing investigation into the Secondary School Certificate Exam Paper Leak matter, the Telangana Police issued notice to Mr. Eatala Rajender, the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Huzurabad Constituency.
The former Telangana Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Mr. Eatala Rajender was given notice under Section 160 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC.) As per this section, police have power to ask anyone to appear for investigation in any matter, being investigated by the concerned official. It is to be noted, Mr. Eatala Rajender and Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the BJP President in Telangana, has been named as prime accused in the Hindi question paper leak matter. As per the police evidence, the two BJP leaders received an image of the SSC Hindi question paper on their WhatsApp.
Notably, the Kamlapur Police would question Mr. Eatala Rajender regarding the Hindi Question paper leak of the SSC (class X) students, prior to boards exams. Mr. Eatala Rajender has been asked to appear before the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) at the Central Zone Office in the Police Comissionerate at 11:00 A.M., on Monday, the 10th of April.
