The Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kolkata Knight Riders once again made headlines, after it won the IPL match against Gujarat Titans, in Ahmedabad.
On the 9th of April, Sunday, KKR player Rinku Singh became the talk of India and is trending on Twitter, for his outstanding performance. After the three over match, where KKR was close to lose against the host team Gujarat Titans, the five sixers of Rinku Yadav, not only saved the team and won, but also made Singh a noticed player, who scored 48 runs in 21 balls. In the history of IPL, Rinku Singh became the first batter to hit five successive sixes off the final over to win a match.
Almost everyone had given up, except Rinku, who turned the tables for KKR and made it a victory for the team. After Shardul Thakur’s performance which led KKR to win against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB,) Rinku Singh became the hero in Ahmedabad, leading to the second victory of KKR in the 16th edition of the IPL.
Meanwhile, the next IPL match is between RCB and Lucknow Super Giants, at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:30 P.M., with live streaming on OTT platform Disney+Hotstar.
