The Hyderabad Police arrested a fitness trainer, who is accused of rape charges, based on a complaint from a Telugu TV actress.
According to sources, the trainer, identified as Aditya Ajay Kapoor allegedly raped the victim several times between 2021 and 2022. In her complaint, the victim also mentioned how she knew Aditya Ajay Kapoor. The victim informed the police that she came in contact with Aditya at the residence of a common friend. Later, both, the victim and Aditya became close friends and started dating. Aditya allegedly promised the victim that he would marry her and raped her under the pretext of promises, assuring her to marry. However, after dating for a while, when the victim asked Aditya for a wedding, he abused her and assaulted her physically in Mumbai and Goa. The accused even threatened the actress to make her private pictures public and kill her.
Unable to bear his harassment, the victim took the help of the police and registered a complaint against Aditya Ajay Kapoor. After an initial investigation, the police took Aditya’s mobile and found intimate pictures of the woman.
Furthermore, a case has been registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and an investigation is underway. Aditya Ajay Kapoor has been booked under sections 376, 323, 504 and 506(2) of the IPC and Sections 67 and 67A of the Information Technology (IT) Act.
