With these sightings, at least 60 schools were shut down on Wednesday and on Thursday morning, nearly 134 schools were closed. The residents of the areas also chose to stay indoors to avoid conflicts with the wild animals. A combined police-forest department team are keeping a vigil on the area and traffic is also diverted in and around the area.
