Chennai: At least two persons were arrested in the dog cruelty case. On Wednesday, the police nabbed two people in connection with the case. A video clip featuring a man throwing the dog from a five storeyed building went viral on all social media platforms on Tuesday. Two medical students were identified in the case and were also taken to the court.

On the other hand, the dog has been receiving medical treatment. The Animal Welfare Officer, Antony Rubin took up the case and shared a photograph of the dog on his official Facebook page. He captioned, “Both the guys are with police! Victory to the people of Chennai.”
