Gurgaon: SHKM Government Medical hospital in Mewat, Haryana, turned unsafe when a 22-year-old woman who was undergoing treatment for depression was allegedly raped in an empty room by its workers.
Late on Monday night, a ward boy called her out and soon he gagged her into an empty room to ensure she doesn’t scream for help, soon after that another security guard entered the room and allegedly raped her. The accused are absconding.
According to the police, the assault might have continued for nearly two hours and said that they received a call from the hospital after 1pm. The woman’s brother-in-law, who was in the lounge, had come to check on her and found her stole lying outside a room along the passage. As he raised the alarm, the ward boy and the guard fled from the room. The woman had passed out.
