On Monday, a 35 year old woman was kidnapped and gang raped in Sohna, Haryana in a horrifying incident that lasted for hours.
The woman alleged that around 8 P.M., three men kidnapped her in a Maruti Swift in Gurgaon’s Sohna area. The woman was then continuously raped by the men in the moving vehicle for hours.
The woman was then thrown out off the car near Yatharh Hospital in Kasna in Greater Noida. The woman lay on the road till a lady passerby saw her and alerted the police.
The Noida police immediately arrived on the spot and informed their Gurgaon counterparts.
The police took the woman for a medical examination at Yatharth. Today, the woman was taken back to Sohna after completing all the legal formalities in Greater Noida.
The woman was originally from Rajasthan’s Bharatpur city and had come to Sohna ten days ago.
The suspects have absconded and the police are carrying out an investigation to nab the accused. A team of Noida police have been sent to Sohna to investigate while another group is looking through CCTV footage to find the car.
This comes after an, even more, horrifying case of a 20 year old auto driver lured a 7 year old girl and raped her in Gurgaon. The girl at present is battling for her life at New Delhi’s Safdurjung Hospital. The Gurgaon police arrested the 20 year old auto driver after catching him taking to the girl, on CCTV footage.
