Lucknow: Over 70 children fell sick after having their mid-day meal at government primary school, Lucknow on Wednesday. Children were rushed to nearby Lohia hospital in Gomtinagar where the condition of a few was said to be serious.This proves that the government is still not providing hygienic food for the students at government school’s.
Children began to vomit and started complained about loose motions as soon as they had lunch at school. This sorrowful incident occurred at uggaur primary school in Chinhat block. The Senior district and educational department officials visited hospital to oversee the treatment for kids.
Angry parents of the students created ruckus at the school and dint allow the teachers to leave the school premises until few elder intervene. In the past too, many cases in which stale and poor quality food was served to children have come to light.
