again hogging the limelight for all the wrong reasons. A person, who identified himself as Mahavir Jain, tweeted a photo of an insect in his food served by the Tata-owned airlines when he was travelling in an AI flight from Mumbai to Chennai.
Notably, the passenger claimed he was travelling in the business class of AI671 flight.
“@airindiain insect in the meal served in business class. Doesn’t look like hygiene was taken. My flight was AI671 -Mumbai to chennai. Seat 2C,” Jain tweeted.
Meanwhile, reacting to Jain’s post, Air India said it follows strict measures to ensure hygiene.
“Dear Mr. Jain, we’re sorry to note your experience while flying with us. This is not something good to hear. We strictly follow measures to ensure hygiene at every step of the process,” Air India tweeted.
The Tata-owned airline asked the passenger to share the details so that action can be taken against the catering team.
The incident was reported on the 27th of February, which was the latest issue of Air India showing negligence towards its hygiene and functioning.
Recently, a similar incident was reported in which, famous chef Mr. Sanjeev Kapoor who was travelling in the business class, shared a meal served for breakfast.
Mr. Sanjaeev Kapoor tweeted, “Really! Is this what Indians should eat for breakfast?”
“Wake Up @airindiain Nagpur-Mumbai 0740 flight. Cold Chicken Tikka with watermelon, cucumber,. tomato and sev. Sandwich with minuscule filling of chopped cabbage with mayo. Sugar syrup Sponge painted with sweetened cream and yellow glaze.”
