Asaduddin Owaisi, the President of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM,) took to Twitter and condemned the riots in northeast Delhi.
Mr. Owaisi, on the 26th of February, took to Twitter and lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for being unable to handle the situation in Delhi, which has become a war zone.
On the night of the 24th of February, the areas in the northeast Delhi witnessed violence which took the lives of 17 people and left more than 160 people injured.
The situation in North East Delhi is only getting worse. If @PMOIndia wants to restore peace, it is incumbent on you that Army takes over the area. Cops have abdicated their duty & are colluding with mobs. The only way to secure lives & limbs is to hand over the area to the army

The violence broke out in areas like Jaffrabad, Maujpur, Chandbagh, Khureji Khas and Bhajanpura.
Asaduddin Owaisi, on the 25th of February, addressed the media and shared his opinion regarding the violence hit Delhi. Mr. Owaisi blamed the Central Government for the violence and said, “Whatever violence happened in Delhi yesterday and is happening today also it is state sponsored violence. I believe that this whole thing cannot be called a communal riot. It started because an ex MLA (Member of the Legislative Assembly) of (the) BJP stood shoulder to shoulder with a DCP and openly gave an ultimatum.”
Targeting Home Minister Amit Shah, Mr. Owaisi posted a video on Twitter, “Your cops @AmitShah are taking away Indians’ dignity & humiliating them for no reason. Act now. These cops deserve the highest possible punishment under the law.”

The entire stretch leading up to NE Delhi’s Khajoori Khas saw a blood-hungry mob spotting and thrashing members of a minority community. Many were bleeding while trying to flee. Police reached half an hour later.
All this, in front of me.

The situation is still not under control in Delhi. Citizens of Delhi and students of colleges in Delhi are protesting against the Delhi Police and Central Government.
