On Tuesday, News reports of Bollywood star Arjun Rampal and Jackie Shroff joining the Bharatiya Janata Party have emerged. The Bollywood actors, according to reports will play a crucial role in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections campaign. Arjun and Jackie are expected to visit New Delhi, the party’s headquarters and meet the general secretary Kailash Vijayviaragya.

Apart from this the most recent addition to the Bharatiya Janata Party was the Sajid-Wajid music composer duo. UP, Manipur, Punjab, Goa and Himachal Pradesh are all set to have their Assembly elections in February and March this year. Bharatiya Janata Party, by adding star power, hopes to gain more seats in the states that they have less power in.
