Amritsar: Dalbir Kaur, sister of alleged Indian spy Sarabjit Singh, who died in Pakistan’s Kot Lakhpot jail three years ago met sister of Kirpal Singh who also passed away in Pakistan under similar circumstance.
Dalbir offered her condolence to the kin over his death. Later, they left for Delhi to meet Home Minister Rajnath Singh to seek his intervention in bringing back the of Kirpal Singh from Lahore.
According to the media reports Dalbir Kaur said, “both Sarabjit and Kirpal were lodged in adjoining cells at Kot Lakhpat jail. Kirpal knew the truth behind Sarabjit’s death. If Pakistan authorities had set him free, he would have revealed what actually happened with Sarabjit three years back in Pakistan.”
Kirpal Singh, 55, died under mysterious circumstances at Pakistan’s Kot Lakhpat jail. Pakistan authorities, however, have ruled out any foul play and have claimed that Kirpal complained of chest pain after which he was admitted to a hospital where he was declared dead.
