Delhi boy offered 1.25 crore Salary Package by Uber

Siddarth Raja, a Delhi Technological University (DTU) student proved that you do not need to be in IITs or IIMs to get a high paying job. The Delhi based boy was offered one crore 25 lakhs annual package by Uber, the mobile-based app used for cab booking. Sidharth is pursuing his B.tech final year at the DTU and was sent the appointment letter on Thursday. He is also one of the 5 winners in a competition organized by the Prime Minister’s Office and Google. Siddharth is also the mastermind behind the designs for Newsfeed, Speech streaming and other components of the Prime Minister’s Office Mobile Application.

The 21 year old who was an alumnus of Delhi Public School, if he accepts the offer, will be working as a software engineer at the company’s San Francisco office. The 1.25 crore package includes Rs. 71 Lakh along with added benefits it comes to Rs 1. 25 crores. Siddharth has previously worked with the organization as an intern for three months approximately. A high scoring student all his life, Sidharth is the first engineer of his family and fulfilled his dream of becoming a computer science engineer. Speaking about this the youngster said, “From the beginning, I wanted to do computer science engineering and with my score, I was not getting the subject at any of the IITs. Moreover, I love Delhi and did not want to move from here.”

It is very rare any students apart from IITs and IIMs receive such a high salary in regular college placements. A wanderer at heart, the youngster has high dreams for his career and wants to travel the World.
