New Delhi: An earthquake hit India-Myanmnar border on Tuesday morning. The quake with magnitude 5.5 measuring on the Richter Scale jolted the border region of India and Myanmar at round 7:10 am, according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
Tremors felt in Guwahati in Assam. However, no reports of damage or casualties have been reported so far. An earthquake with magnitude 3.1 also struck Karbi Anglong district in Assam at 5:30 am Tuesday morning.
