Editor in Chief of Huffington Post India Resigns

On Tuesday, the editor for the news website Huffington Post, India, Sruthijith K.K., resigned.

For the time being the deputy editor, Rituparna Chatterjee will fill in as the interim editor in chief.

As he left his post-Sruthijith said, “It’s been a real privilege to set up and lead an amazing team of journalists at HuffPost India for nearly three years. I am now leaving to pursue different challenges and learn new things.”

A spokesman from Times Bridge spoke about the editor’s contributions and said, “Sruthijith has been instrumental in taking HuffPost India to where it is today and we wish him the best in his future endeavors. We are proud to be able to call Sruthijith an alumnus of HuffPost India.”

Before shaping Huffington Post to what it is today Sruthijith was part of Quartz India as the founding editor. He went on to work at The Economic Times and Mint before he took up the post of Editor in Chief at Huffington Post.
