Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the 20 minute program mentioned about the Beti Bachao Beti Padao( Save daughters, Educate daughters) this scheme was started by him. Prime Minster have mentioned that the Sarpanch of a village in Haryana, Mr. Sunil Jaglan, had started “Selfie with daughter” competition wherein the fathers have to post their selfies with their daughters. Mr. Modi has asked all the fathers to post their pictures along with their daughters and tweet them. The best tweet will be re-tweeted. The PM says that he got a good response from the fathers around the nation appreciating and explaining about the pride of having a daughters.
The Prime Minister has created a group for this specific scheme to encourage Daughters and educate them all over the nation. Many fathers have come out to celebrate this scheme.
