Recently, a Border Security Force soldier had complained about the poor quality of food being served for lunch and dinner. Tej Bahadur filmed the video of yellow watery dal without seasoning, burnt roti and also complained that most of the soldiers went to bed without eating. Sources revealed that Tej Bahadur was posted at the location just 10 days ago!
The BSF sources gave a statement about Tej Bahadur and said, “A habitual offender of absenteeism without permission, chronic alcoholism, misbehaving and using force with superior officers, besides other acts against good order and discipline. For such reasons, the individual has served mostly in headquarters under the supervision of some dedicated superior officer. In spite of him being a bad hat, the proper time has been devoted to (the) individual’s improvement as welfare to the individual.”
Tej Bahadur has sought voluntary retirement effective January 31st. The complaint made by the Tej Bahadur shocked the entire nation and the video that went viral received more than 10 lakh views. But was it the right way to address an issue?
