On the 5th of October, two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed and 3 severely injured.
The incident took place today afternoon when terrorists opened fire at CRPF officials.
A terrorist group opened fire at a patrolling party in Pampore in south Kashmir resulting in death and injuries.
An official said, “Terrorists attacked security forces on National Highway near Kandizaal area in Pampore in Pulwama district in which five soldiers were injured. The area was immediately cordoned off and a search operation was launched to nab the terrorists.”
The injured personnel were evacuated to the district hospital, where two succumbed to their injuries.
Traffic has been stopped on the highway after the attack and security forces are still conducting a search operation at the location of encounter.
