On the 5th of October, the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) declared the results of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2020 on its official website.
As many as 1.6 lakh candidates registered for exams in 2020, of which nearly 1,50,838 appeared for the exams.
Only 43,204 candidates qualified JEE Advanced in 2020.
Candidates who appeared in the JEE Advanced 2020 exam could check their results on the official website at jeeadv.ac.in.
JEE Advanced was held on the 27th of September, in two slots. While the first one was from 9:00 A.M., the second slot was from 2:30 P.M.
Chirag Falor of IIT Bombay zone scored 352 marks out of 396 marks and topped the exam.
Following the JEE advanced results, the admission process to the 23 IITs would begin soon.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) would conduct the admission to the IITs and allocate seats to the qualified students.
The results of JEE Advanced came days after the IIT Delhi released the answer key for JEE Advanced 2020 examination on its official website.
Candidates were allowed to raise the objections, if any, by providing appropriate representations till the 1st of October.
