L.K. Advani loses cool about disruptions in Parliament yet again.

The Winter session of parliament is in chaos since its start on November 16.

BJP senior Minister L.K. Advani on Thursday ousted his anger about the frequent disturbances in Parliament. He came close to quitting as Member of Parliament over this issue.

When Trinamool MP Idris Ali expressed concern over the health of the senior MP when he burst out, “I just feel like quitting, right now.” Visibly furious, he added, “For once, for one day at least, run the House properly. Whether anyone wins or loses the real loser in this whole mess is the Parliament itself.”

After the Winter session of Parliament began on November 16, there have been constant disruptions in the parliament over the issue of Demonetisation. The Assembly has been in an uproar by constant disturbances of the oppositions.
This is the third time Advani got upset during the sessions because of the ruckus. Last week he expressed that neither the Speaker nor the Parliamentary Affairs Minister was able of running the house and got distressed about this matter. Today, he was overheard telling the Home Minister Rajnath Singh that all party members should talk to the Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan and come to a solution regarding logjam at least tomorrow, which is the last day of the Winter session. He also said only when this happens the proceedings of the parliament could run smoothly. He also expressed that ‘It would be a shame’ if the house gets adjourned tomorrow without discussions.

Advani, referring to Parliament’s lower house, allegedly said, “If the situation is the same on the last day as well, Parliament will be slandered.Such a thing has never happened in the House of Commons, adjourned for no reason. I feel ashamed.”

He also stressed on the need for debate on Demonetisation at least tomorrow. When Trinamool Congress’s leader expressed that Rahul Gandhi was not being allowed to express his views, Advani said, “Don’t take any person’s name. The issue is that Parliament should discuss the matter.” Reminiscing the late BJP Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Advani said, “Had Atalji been in the Parliament today, he would have been upset.”

A huge amount of money is spent on every session of Parliament every year. The ruckus created by oppositions is not letting the proceedings happen, which is a waste of both time and money, with no point.
