Manohar Lal Khattar, the incumbent Chief Minister of Haryana, is all set to form the Government in Haryana, in alliance with the Jannayak Janta Party (BJP.)
Manohar Lal Khattar is scheduled to meet Satyadev Narayana Arya, the Governor of Haryana, on the 26th of October and would stake claim to form the Government.
Mr. Khattar, after completing the meeting in Delhi with the BJP leaders on the 25th of October, flew to Chandigarh to meet the Governor. Before meeting Satydev Narayana Arya, Manohar Lal would attend a BJP legislative event, where the Party would announce him as the President of the BJP’s legislative party in Haryana.
Nirmala Sitharaman, the Finance Minister of India, Arun Singh, the General Secretary of the BJP and other BJP leaders would attend the event.
Mr. Manohar Lal said, “In order to provide a stable government, we have decided that BJP and JJP will ally in Haryana. Haryana has seen coalitions earlier too. The work on this coalition government will begin on Saturday.”
Manohar Lal Khattar would soon take oath as the CM of Haryana, whereas Dushyant Chautala is likely to be the Deputy Chief Minister.
However, an official announcement regarding the swearing in ceremony is yet to be made,
