Mysore: The Mysore Place witnessed a royal wedding for the first time in 40 years. The Wadiyar dynasty is hosting a royal wedding as king ‘Yaduveer Wadiyar’ tied knot with Rajasthani royalty Trishika Kumari Singh on Monday.

Over 80 royal families and a thousand dignitaries from India and Abroad have been invited for the wedding. As many as 50 traditional rituals have been planned. Wedding receptions will be held on June 28 and July 2 at palace in Mysuru and Bengaluru respectively.

Yaduveer, now the 27th “King” of Wodeyar dynasty has completed his BA in Economics and English at Boston University in the US and is the grandson of Princess Gayatri Devi.
