Just a day after AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi made a controversy statement that he would not chant ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ a senior Parliamentarian Najma Heptulla shut his mouth today.
Najma Heptulla, a former long-serving deputy chairperson of Rajya Sabha today said, “even if you keep knife on my throat Bharat Mata Ki Jai will come out from my mouth. The Parliamentarian further said that even after her death, her soul will chant ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’.
The comment made by head of Minority Affairs Minister came a day after a video of Asaddudin Owaisi started surfacing on social media in which he said that he will wont chant ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. The AIMIM leader was addressing a public rally in Latur on Sunday.

Najma Heptulla, descendant of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad is the only female Muslim faces in the Modi government. Heptulla had always denied feeling alienated in the BJP which has a pro-majority image.
