On Tuesday, Narendra Modi will be in Himachal Pradesh for three reasons. He will be inaugurating a steel plant and will be laying the foundation stone for an AIIMS and an IIT.
The Prime Minister’s Office released a statement of Modi’s engagements in Himachal Pradesh.
It begins with laying the foundation for All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Bilaspur. The hospital will house 750 beds and will be built at a cost of Rs. 1250 crores. The hospital will provide healthcare but also provide medical education for the undergraduate and postgraduate levels along with nursing.
At Una, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT.)
The statement also reported that PM Modi will be in Kandrori in Kangra to inaugurate a Steel Processing Unit of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL.)
After this, the Prime Minister will have a public meeting and address the changes and schemes in the state.
