New Delhi: In a tragic accident, six people were killed on Friday after a speeding car rammed into a vehicle stationed ahead it on National Highway-1.
According to the police reports, the deceased were travelling from Delhi to Karnal when the incident occurred. Doctors declared them death as soon as they were rushed to hospital. The victims have not been identified yet.
“The accident happened around 4:30 am in the morning, we got a call around that time. We rushed to the spot and saw that a high intensity accident has taken place. Prima facie it seems like the car hit a stationary vehicle from behind. Six people were declared brought dead by the hospital. We are investigating the case,” Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Pankaj Kumar said.
