The National Investigation Agency (NIA,) on the 19th of February, Saturday, revealed wanted underworld gangster Dawood Ibrahim’s planned attack.
According to the NIA, Dawood Ibrahim has formed a special unit to target India. He even made a list of top most Indian celebrities, politicians and businessmen who would be on his hit list.
After further investigation in the matter, the investigation agency revealed that Dawood Ibrahim along with his special unit was planning to launch an attack on the country using explosives and lethal weapons with the aim of inciting violence in different parts of the country. Notably, Dawood Ibrahim said to have main focus on Delhi and Mumbai.
Meanwhile, recently on the 18th of February, Friday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) registered a money laundering case against Dawood Ibrahim and his aides. They were alleged of being involved in financing terror activities. Among the arrested, Dawood Ibrahim’s brother Iqbal Kaskar is also there under the ED custody. He is being questioned and the investigation in the ED case is underway.
Iqbal Kaskar and other aided of Dawood Ibrahim would be under the ED custody till the 24th of February.
