Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman, the Union Finance Minister, is all set to present the Union Budget 2023-2024, on the 1st of February.
This budget holds special significance as the 2023-2024 Union Budget would be the last budget of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led Central Government, as its term would end in 2024.
According to sources, in this year’s budget, the real estate sector, health sector and education sector is expected to get huge sanctions aimed at development and progress.
In addition, the tourism sector, which suffered a huge loss due to the Wuhan Virus also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, is hoping for initiatives to boost tourism in India.
Besides this, homemakers and middle class people are also expecting some relief and some price reduction of essential commodities, including LPG cylinders.
Every eye is on the Union Budget 2023-2024, which would be presented by Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman, shorty in the Parliament, on the 1st of February, Wednesday.
