PM Modi Gets Grand Welcome At 25-Year Service Event

Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a warm welcome at the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha in New Delhi on Wednesday as the BJP marked his 25 years as head of government.

The event was organised under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. People welcomed Modi with flowers, BJP flags and slogans of “Bharat Mata ki Jai”. Many also used their phones to record his arrival.

Addressing the gathering, BJP president Nitin Nabin congratulated Modi on completing 25 years in government. He praised the Prime Minister’s public service, leadership and efforts towards building a Viksit Bharat.

Modi first became Gujarat Chief Minister on October 7, 2001, replacing Keshubhai Patel. He remained in the post until 2014 before becoming Prime Minister.

Nabin also highlighted government schemes focused on youth, students, women, the poor and sports under Modi’s leadership.

The BJP event comes as Modi marks 25 years of uninterrupted leadership as head of government, covering his time as Gujarat Chief Minister and his tenure as Prime Minister.
