Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in the 117th episode of his monthly ‘Mann Ki Baat,’ shared insights on Indian cinema, the Constitution, and the upcoming Maha Kumbh Mela.
Modi praised Telugu cinema legend Akkineni Nageswara Rao for elevating Telugu films and showcasing Indian traditions and values. He also acknowledged Bollywood icons Tapan Sinha and Raj Kapoor for using cinema to inspire societal change and present India’s sensitive facets globally. Modi emphasized that the world is increasingly recognizing the Indian film industry’s potential, announcing that India will host the first-ever World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit next year.
On the Constitution’s 75th anniversary, Modi highlighted a special website designed to engage citizens. People can record videos sharing their thoughts on the Constitution, read its preamble in multiple languages, and ask questions to better understand its principles.
Modi also called the upcoming Maha Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj a “Unity Mela,” emphasizing its use of advanced technologies. AI chatbots in 11 languages, digital navigation tools, robotic fire tenders, and lost-and-found centers have been implemented to enhance devotees’ experience. The summit will ensure safety and smooth operations for millions of attendees.
