New Delhi: Minutes after Amit Shah portrayed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s BA and MA degrees at a press congress at Bharatiya Janata Party headquarters, the Aam Aadmi Party hit BJP back by calming that the degrees displayed for public are fake.
‘The degrees shown by the Finance Minister are fake and forged,’ says a senior leader Ashutosh as he asked how the two degrees have two different names. “The BA degree has Narendra Kumar Damodardas Modi while the MA degree says his name is Narendra Damodardas Modi,” he said.
“Also, if the mark-sheet says he finished his BA in 1977, why does the degree say 1978?” he asked. “Amit Shah and Arun Jaitley tried a lot, but have been caught red-handed. They need to show the affidavit through which PM changed his name in the two degrees,” he added.

Jaitley even said the kind of allegations that have been levelled against Modi threatens federal polity in the country and such attempts should be defeated strongly while challenging the Delhi Chief Minister to verify his claims. “The politics of adventurism is being treated as a substitute for governance,” he said, mounting a strong attack on Kejriwal.
Shah said “It is very unfortunate that we have to hold this press meet to clarify the Prime Minister’s educational qualification status.”
