New Delhi: Delhi police have filed a complaint against Indian sensational boxer Vijender Singh for insulting Indian flag during maiden WBO Asia Pacific Super Middleweight title on Saturday at Thyagaraj Stadium.
A resident of Vasundhara Enclave, Ullhas PR has complaint against the boxer in New Ashok Nagar Police station. He accused that the boxer Vijender wore tri-colour shorts, disrespecting national flag.

“In this match, boxer Vijender Singh was wearing a short and on the back of it India’s national flag was placed. This is a clear violation of flag code of India,” Ullhas wrote in his complaint. Vijender defeated Welsh-born Australian Kerry Hope in a 10-round bout at a packed Thyagaraj Sports Complex.
