Police Protection to watch a movie? Theatre’s screening “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil “given security.

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS,) leader Amey Khopkar stated on Monday, “We will oppose the screening of the movie everywhere in the state. If any multiplex operator dares to screen the film, they (operators) should remember that multiplexes are decorated with expensive glass sheets,”

Threats from the MNS of physically harming and vandalizing theatres and multiplexes that screen “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” featuring Fawad Khan who is from Pakistan, has forced the producers of the movie to seek police protection. The producers had a meeting with few top officials of The Mumbai Police today on the same issue.Police Tried to control the mobs in Bengaluru
Karan Johar has directed ”Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma in lead roles and also features Fawad Khan.
“Mumbai police will provide adequate protection to cinema theatres as and when required,” Deputy Commissioner of Police Ashok Dudhe stated.
A team from Johar’s Dharma Productions along with filmmaker Mukesh Bhatt who is the president of the Film and Television Producers Guild of India, met Mumbai Police Commissioner Dattaray Padsalgikar and Joint Police Commissioner (law and order) Deven Bharti, and sought protection for the theatres to screen the soon to be released film.srinagar police curfew
