Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of attempting to manipulate the Lok Sabha elections. Gandhi alleged that during the elections, the bank accounts of the Congress party were frozen, a move he deemed as an attempt to influence the electoral process.
In a strongly worded statement, Gandhi asserted, “They are trying to win the next election by freezing opposition bank accounts and arresting leaders.” He further suggested that Modi was not acting alone in these efforts but was collaborating with “five rich friends.”
Gandhi’s remarks underscore growing tensions between the Congress party and the ruling government, as the political landscape heats up in anticipation of the upcoming elections.
