New Delhi, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi expressed his condolenses to all the families who lost their loved ones for the abnormal lightning strikes on Monday. He said that the deaths in Andhra Pradesh due to lightning were “extremely tragic”.
“Extremely tragic that so many lives were lost in freak lightning strikes across Andhra Pradesh. My condolences to the bereaved families,” Rahul said in a tweet.
Going into the details of the incident, At least 20 people lost their lives due to lightning in different parts of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday as heavy rains lashed the state under the impact of a low pressure phenomenon over Bay of Bengal.
