Mumbai: On Wednesday, a team of Mumbai police seized the laptop and bank documents of the co-accused Sanjeev Khanna, who is a former husband of the prime accused Indrani Mukherjea. The seizure occurred in connection with the Sheena Bora murder case. The police seized the documents and laptop from his residence in the southern part of the city.
The team of Mumbai police and a team of city police visited Khanna’s residence in Hastings area on Wednesday morning and then seized his laptop and other documents relating to bank and investments, according to an official of Kolkata police.
The official also added that the police of Mumbai asked for their help in getting Mr. Khanna’s laptop and they assisted them in getting the laptop. The official also said that they have no clue about the investigation into the murder case. It is heard that the police was also trying to meet Siddharth Das, who is biological father to Sheena Bora.
