Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and especially Sushma Swaraj, have time and again been commended for their social media outreach. Twitter and Facebook have been extensively used by BJP before their rivals could even use them. They have used social media to disseminate their message, and reach that helped in winning the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
If this is not done forthwith, we will not grant Indian Visa to any Amazon official. We will also rescind the Visas issued earlier.

On Wednesday, Sushma Swaraj threatened the e-commerce giant Amazon on Twitter. This threat came after a user brought to her notice that Amazon Canada, was selling Indian flag printed doormats. Swaraj threatened that unless Amazon stops selling these mats, she would not grant official visas to India for Amazon employees.

With the Patriotic reverence about how Indians treat their nationalc symbols, the anger of Sushma Swaraj can completely be justified. This might be an act of atrocity in India, but in the western countries, flags printed on door mats, clothing etc., are quite common and also legal.
Though it is completely legal in Canada, the Canada Amazon website obliged to her threat and instantly halted the sale of the Indian Flag designed door mats on their website.
