Lucknow: Sixty five year old typewriter was humiliated and smashed by a sub-inspector outside General Post Office, Lucknow. After this bizarre incident the cop was suspended from his work. And now, the Lucknow typist Krishna Kumar gets a threat call on Monday, warning that the typist that had not done a good thing and will have to face the consequences. The senior citizen has been provided necessary security in view of the threat call.

“We are probing the threat call which he received late afternoon. It looks like that the call was made from internet,” said a senior Lucknow police official.
The picture of the cop abusing the typist and kicking his typewriter went viral on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter on Saturday.
Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday announced a grant of Rs. One lakh to the typist to enable him meet his needs. Mr. Kishan, who had been sitting on the pavement outside General Post Office in Lucknow since last 35 years, forgave the errant cop who broke his typewriter. “I don’t hold any grudge against him because he is like my son. He also realized his mistake.”
“I am a simple typist. I am not used to this kind of attention. Now thousands of good people want to help me out and so many media person and photographers took my picture and interviewed me,” he added.
